Community Based Instruction (CBI) is a learning framework for exceptional students participating in the LAUSD Alternate Curriculum.  It encompasses a hands-on approach to introducing students to the functions and realities of participating at real job sites.

CBI enables our students to make real-life connections to what they are learning while enabling them to generalize their skills from the school site to the workplace and the surrounding communities.
