Mission Statement:

Banneker-Doyle Career and Transition Center is dedicated to providing rigorous vocational training and instructional programs for students ages 18-22 with moderate-severe disabilities on the Alternate Curriculum for the purpose of maximizing each student's potential, leading to successful outcomes in adult life.

The program is designed to maximize student independence, development of vocational abilities(employability), preparation for adult life and train students to access adult support services. Using assessment and standards-based targeted hands-on job training and vocational instruction, students are given the chance to function meaningfully and richly in the community, in the real world of work.
